Jared Chapman is the author and illustrator of several children's books including the Vegetables in Underwear series, Show-Me Readers Award nominee, Seals are Jerks!, and T. Rex Time Machine. He has illustrated several other picture books, such as the Crab & Snail series, Didi Dodo Future Spy series, and Monty and the Mushrooms.

Bio from Jared's website: Jared Chapman grew up in Texas, but not near any towns you might have heard of. As a kid, he enjoyed drawing, reading, and harassing his siblings. That sounds like a joke but it isn’t. Just ask his brother and sisters. After college, Jared worked as an animator before he started making books. When he’s not drawing or reading, you can find him at home with his wife and kids.
