Come hear about the creation of the Missouri Department of Conservation and explore one of the great Conservation success stories--The restoration of the wild turkey in Missouri.  Did you know Benjamin Franklin once proposed the Wild Turkey as our national symbol?  Learn these and other interesting turkey facts from Conservation Educator Brad Addison.  Delve into turkey vocalizations and vocabulary and try your own hand at replicating the sounds of the wild turkey with a hands-on activity.

Brad Addison is a retired High School History teacher and former competitive turkey caller, currently working with the Missouri Department of Conservation as a Conservation Educator.  Brad has hunted turkeys in 11 different states and focuses on providing hunting and outdoor opportunities to youth, disabled veterans, and mobility impaired individuals.
