Mastering Your Library Apps - Libby In-Person
Join Scott, Pleasant Hill Branch Manager, for the second in a three-part series designed to help you unlock the full power of your library card—right from your smartphone or tablet! Each session will focus on a different essential library application, offering step-by-step guidance, tips, and live demonstrations to help you download, navigate, and use these free resources. We will dedicate the majority of the time to mastering the featured app, but will also set aside time at the end of each session to answer your general library questions.
Intended for ages 12 and up.
NOTE: While we may be able to provide a general and basic level of tech support during this session, some individual or specific technical issues may require a separate visit to the library at another time.
IN THIS SESSION
Libby App
This app can provide easy and free access to ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines on your personal devices.
What is Libby? What is MOLIB2GO? How is Libby different than Hoopla? How does the library buy these digital resources and how do patrons access them? Why is the hold list so long?
Learn how to access the library's digital books to read on your devices by using Libby with your CCPL library card.
Please install the app on your personal device before the event.
