Chick Hatching at the Library In-Person

Experience the wonder of new life with our chick hatching program at the library! Fertilized eggs will be safely housed in an incubator on site, allowing visitors to observe the incubation and hatching process up close. Throughout the week, participants can learn about the life cycle of chickens and the science behind incubation.

Once the eggs hatch, the chicks will remain at the library for a few days so visitors can watch them grow, move, and interact. This engaging program offers a unique, hands-on learning opportunity for all ages to witness one of nature’s most egg-citing transformations—right in the library. 🐣📖

Intended for all ages.
